Particleboard is a three layered board with fine particles on the top and bottom surfaces and larger wood flakes in the middle. Particleboard comes in either raw form with sanded surface OR with surface decorative overlay – melamine, vinyl, or wood veneers. Common grades available: Standard, Moisture Resistant (MR) and Flooring. MR Particleboard has a much slower response to wetting than standard types.
Pre-lamination is the pressing of MF impregnated decorative or solid color paper with uniform density & porosity on a Particle Board surface under controlled temperature & pressure in a define pressing cycle.Resistant to abrasion, household chemicals, steam, cigarette burns and cracking.Unlike pre-laminated particle board and plywood, the edges are smooth and hence it reduces the cost.
LAMINEX is made from the finest quality MDF boards, which are laminated with MF resin impregnated paper in a short cycle press under programmed logic control quality system. Can be used where the panel is exposed to high moisture and humidity .No additional cost in finishing the surface of panel.
